Heute abend gings also im GTFL-Cup gegen die Jungs von UTD.
Los gings mit Pandemonium. Schon früh konnten wir die gegnerische Flagge aus dem Flagroom befreien und bis zum Eingang schleppen. Dort wurde diese hart umkämpft aber fand dann doch ihren Platz auf unserem Cappoint. Wir konnten weiter gut Druck ausüben und es gelangen uns weitere Caps. Aber auch die gegnerische Offense war nicht nicht untätig, zweimal mussten wir den Lappen ziehen lassen. Endstand 70:20, sicherlich höher als wir erwartet hatten.
Durch Probs mit TS und meiner Maus gehändicapt gings dann weiter auf Arise.
Auch hier wieder starke Leistung unserer Off die insgesamt vier Flaggen nach Hause bringen konnte. Unserem Gegner blieb der Capsound allerdings verwehrt, da unsere Def einen astreinen Job machte!

So tonight we faced the lads from UTD in the GTFL Cup.
It kicked off with pandemonium. Early on, we managed to snatch the opposing flag from the flagroom and drag it all the way to the entrance. There, it was fiercely contested but eventually found its way to our cap point. We continued to apply good pressure and managed to secure further caps. But the opposing offence wasn’t idle either; we had to let them take the flag twice. The final score was 70:20, certainly higher than we had expected.
Hindered by issues with TS and my mouse, we then moved on to Arise.
Here too, our offence put in a strong performance, bringing home a total of four flags. Our opponents were denied the cap sound, however, as our defence did a spotless job!
